APRIL : EASTER
For Easter, the boulangerie-pâtisserie offers all kinds of bunnies made of homemade chocolate and rustic bread, as well as Easter doves.
A COMPETITION also takes place each year, whereby you have to guess the weight of the giant eggs exhibited in our different shops and made by our team of pastry cooks.
DECEMBER : FEAST OF THE ESCALADE
For a hundred or so years, Genevan pastry cooks have fashioned chocolate pots to celebrate victory over the Savoyards on that infamous night of 11th to 12th December 1602.
Legend has it that a certain "Matron", a bold cook, poured a pot of boiling soup on their heads!
This tale is the origin of the fashioning of this much awaited chocolate symbol each year at Wolfisberg!
